Museo del Baile Flamenco: Tickets, Hours and the Puro Flamenco Show
Seville's flamenco dance museum explained: opening hours, museum and show prices from its own site, the Puro Flamenco show times, and whether to combine them. Checked October 2026.
The Museo del Baile Flamenco is Seville’s museum of flamenco dance, created by the dancer Cristina Hoyos and open since 2006. It sits at Calle Manuel Rojas Marcos 3, between the cathedral and the Alfalfa, and it does two things: a museum you visit by day, and a one-hour show called Puro Flamenco in the evening. On GetYourGuide the show costs from $37 per person, with the museum as an add-on and free cancellation up to 24 hours before. It is rated 4.8 out of 5 from 6,982 reviews (checked October 2026).

What is in the museum?
The museum is about flamenco as a dance: where it came from, how its styles differ, and the people who shaped it. Expect costumes, photographs and art, and rooms that explain the different forms, or palos, from the slow, deep ones to the lighter, faster ones. Allow about an hour. It is a good visit before the show, because the evening makes more sense once you know what a soleá or an alegrías is supposed to feel like.
What is the show like?
Puro Flamenco is a traditional show of dance, song and guitar in the museum’s courtyard. The show’s listing describes the building as an 18th-century house with orange trees, raised over the remains of a Roman temple. It lasts an hour.
Show only, or museum and show?
If you have a free afternoon, take both: visit the museum after 4pm and stay for the 7pm show. The combined ticket costs only a few euros more than the show alone at the museum’s own prices. If you only have the evening, book the show; the museum is not needed to enjoy it.
Is it worth it?
The show is one of the best-reviewed in the city, and the museum adds context no other show in Seville gives you. If you want the biggest production, Teatro Flamenco Sevilla has a larger stage and more reviews; if you want the most intimate room, Casa de la Memoria is a few minutes’ walk away. The best show guide compares them all.
Getting there
The museum is in the old town, about ten minutes’ walk from the cathedral and close to Plaza de la Alfalfa. The streets around it are narrow, so walking is easier than a taxi to the door.
